El próximo proyecto

My second project was a dress (because JESUS IT'S HOT). I began with this t-shirt, san sleeves. (I had already cut them off, perdón.) It is printed on the interior of the fabric, so I planned to add a little punch by turning part of the shirt inside-out to better see screen-printed side.

I wanted my final product to be a simple, comfortable shirt dress...ejemplos:

The tee itself was just a few inches short of decent. First, I took the bottom hem of the fabric and folded it up towards me (exposing the interior screen print). I sewed this into place over the original hem.

I had saved the bottom half of the t-shirt fabric from my last post to evolve this shirt into a dress. For this step, I turned the printed tee inside-out and sewed the second shirt onto it, making approximately a 1-inch hem. Finally, I folded and sewed a hem at the bottom of solid fabric.

At this point, it looked something like this:
Now all that's left is to put it on! Woop!
